WHAT IS A CONTINGENCY FEE?

When Chaz Roberts Law handles your personal injury case, our payment is through a "contingency fee." A "contingency fee" is collected only if we recover money for you at the end of your case. You owe the firm nothing up front, and owe us nothing while your case is ongoing.

We only get paid if you do - so our fee is said to be "contingent" on your success. If we are successful in obtaining monetary compensation for you, then we will be paid our fee at the very end of the case.

The amount of the contingency fee is different in each case because it is not a set dollar amount. Instead, the firm is paid a percentage of the total amount you recover. That percentage will be agreed to before we start work, and it will be put in writing in a signed contract. So, there is never any uncertainty about how much the fee percentage will be.
